Tactical Artwork founder J.R. Watts is an award winning artist and former Force Reconnaissance Marine.
I use many different mediums, such as clay, wood, metal and acrylic. I typically create a prototype by sculpting it out of clay. Then I make a high-definition silicone mold of each piece and cold cast the artwork using an architectural grade resin. It’s a top of the line material that is suitable for indoor or outdoor display and it even has a fire rating. The only material better suited for the reproduction of sculpture is pure bronze.
Much of my inspiration and vision comes from solitude in nature. I often find myself alone deep in the backcountry, where many of my best ideas are born.
