J.R. Watts
Jason “Billy” Watts is an award-winning artist and former Force Recon Marine whose work is rooted in experience, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the military community.
After serving as a Reconnaissance Marine, Jason earned a BFA in Ceramics and developed his own approach to sculpture, mold-making, casting and finishing. His work draws from the people, symbols, traditions and experiences of military and special operations culture—not from the outside looking in, but from someone who lived it.
Today, Watts creates original military sculpture and artwork for collectors, veterans, service members and anyone who understands the meaning behind the symbols. Every piece is built with the same attention to detail, discipline and authenticity that has defined his journey from Marine to artist.
